The concept of Weihnachten im Tierpark
Weihnachten im Tierpark is a wonderful excursion into a Christmas fairytale world for the whole family. Millions of points of light illuminate the Tierpark Berlin and transform the setting into an enchanted dreamscape. Every year from mid-November to the beginning of January, the approximately two-kilometer-long circular path invites families, friends and couples to pause, stroll and enjoy. Guests can photograph and marvel at a variety of glittering light installations.
Weihnachten im Tierpark - a Christmas Garden experience
At Tierpark Berlin, Europe's largest zoo, has been Weihnachten im Tierpark was launched in 2019 as the capital's second festive winter highlight alongside the Christmas Garden in the Botanical Gardens. Almost 100,000 visitors flocked to the sparkling park landscape in the first year and were enchanted by the atmospheric sound and light installations.
