-Value voucher as a gift: With a value voucher from our partner myticket.de, you give the recipient the freedom to redeem the voucher for various events, including Weihnachten im Tierparkredeemable.

We use a demand-based pricing system. This means that our ticket prices are based on how early and for which date you book a ticket. This means that on many match days we can offer you your Weihnachten im Tierpark-experience at particularly favorable prices on many match days. Booking tickets early pays off! Yes, we offer discounts for the following visitor groups and tickets:
- Pupils, students and senior citizens aged 65 and over
Reduced admission from Monday to Thursday (except on public holidays and between December 20 and January 1). The discount can only be granted on presentation of appropriate ID at the entrance.
- Families
Reduced admission (up to 67% discount*) on Family Day (November 27, December 03 and 10)
Reduced admission (up to 37% discount*) with the family ticket
On Family Day or with the Family Ticket, up to 5 people can Weihnachten im Tierpark can visit:
a) 2 adults and up to 3 children aged 6 to 14 inclusive
b) 1 adult and up to 4 children aged 6 to 14 inclusive

Children up to and including 5 years receive free admission to the Christmas Garden.
- Guests with disabilities
All guests who are dependent on an accompanying person (mark "B" in the disabled person's pass) can take this person with them free of charge.
- Annual pass holders:inside for the Tierpark Berlin, Zoo Berlin or the Berlin Aquarium
Holders of an annual pass receive a 10% discount on tickets for adults, children, schoolchildren, students and senior citizens aged 65 and over. The discount can only be granted on presentation of appropriate ID at the entrance.

Yes. Mobile tickets and Print@home tickets can be presented on the cell phone. It is not necessary to print the tickets.

Vouchers can be issued with an individual voucher value (from € 1.00) and provided with a personal dedication.
Vouchers can be redeemed directly at the box office, but only on condition that tickets are still available for the desired day and time slot.
We recommend redeeming the voucher for tickets online in our ticket store before your visit. The remaining credit of the vouchers can of course be used for other events at myticket.de.

Children under the age of 6 are admitted free of charge. Children aged 6 to 14 inclusive receive a discount, but may only enter the premises if accompanied by an adult.

If the online sale for a specific time slot shows no more tickets available then they are sold out and no more tickets are available at the box office either.

No. In case of loss of the ticket, no replacement or reprint is possible. The return of tickets is also excluded. Pursuant to Section 312g (2) Sentence 1 No. 9 of the German Civil Code (BGB), there is no right of revocation for the purchase of tickets despite the fundamental existence of a distance selling transaction. This means that the two-week right of revocation and return is completely excluded when purchasing tickets.

Yes, if you have purchased a ticket via our website or myticket.de, you can rebook the ticket to a new date and/or time slot up to five days before your booked time slot.
Ticket booking via a guest account:
If you have booked your tickets as a guest, please use the "request new password" function via the following link to convert your guest account into a customer account: myticket login. Please enter the e-mail address you used to book the tickets. You can then carry out the rebooking in your customer account under "Ticket" and the sub-item "Ticket exchange".

Please note:

• Discounted tickets for pupils, students and senior citizens can only be exchanged for the days Monday to Thursday. It is not possible to change tickets to Friday to Sunday.
• A fee of €5.00 is charged per exchange/transaction.
• Exchanges are only possible by online payment (credit card, Klarna, Amazon Pay, Giropay) and not by prepayment.

Up to a group size of 20 people you can book your tickets via our ticket page. A group size of 21 and above please send us a request, which you can make via our ticket page.

Yes, tickets are also available at the box office:

The cheapest tickets are only available online! The earlier you book a ticket, the cheaper the ticket price.

The box office on site is open at the following times:
- Monday to Thursday, Sunday: 4:00 p.m. to 7:20 p.m.
- Friday and Saturday as well as December 20 to January 01: 4:00 p.m. to 8:20 p.m.

At the Bärenschaufenster of the Tierpark Berlin is the entrance of Weihnachten im Tierpark. Important: The access gate at the Castle is used to exit the park and not to enter.

To ensure an atmospheric experience for all guests, the admission time is staggered per 30 minutes. Your ticket will indicate the admission time. Please pass the entrance within the half hour indicated. Example: If you purchased a ticket for 5:30pm, then you can arrive for admission between 5:30pm and 6:00pm. Of course you can stay longer than 30 minutes at Weihnachten im Tierpark linger.

If you have lost something at our event, please email us with a description of the lost item.

Weihnachten im Tierpark is an open-air event and the winter evenings can get very cold. Therefore, we recommend weatherproof and warm clothing and sturdy shoes. Please also bring an umbrella if necessary.

Fraudulent competitions are currently circulating on social media, allegedly organized in the name of Weihnachten im Tierpark / Christmas Garden are being organized. Please note that we are in no way associated with these competitions. You will never be asked for confidential information such as bank details or telephone numbers in official competitions. To be sure that you are entering a genuine Weihnachten im Tierpark / Christmas Garden competition, please check that it has been published directly on our official channels. No. Bicycles, sleds, running bikes and other children's vehicles may not be taken onto the premises for safety reasons.

Yes. Weihnachten im Tierpark is an open air event that takes place in all weather conditions, including rain. Please be aware of this before purchasing your tickets. Winter evenings in Berlin can get very cold and wet. So please remember to bring weatherproof clothing and shoes, and possibly an umbrella as well. A ticket return due to bad weather is unfortunately excluded, as long as there is no acute danger for the visitors.

No. The animal facilities and enclosures of Tierpark Berlin are basically not part of our Festival of Lights. Therefore there are only sporadically real animals can be seen.

Weihnachten im Tierpark takes place in a part of the zoo where only a few animal facilities are located. Illuminations, music and gastronomic offers are certainly placed in a way that no animals are affected.

No. Please understand that dogs (also leashed, in backpacks, bags, etc.) and other animals are not allowed. Excluded are of course officially registered assistance dogs (e.g. guide dogs).

To avoid long waiting times at the entrance, please do not bring large bags.

With increased stewards and security personnel and a professional admission organization, we are meeting the increased security requirements of recent years, taking into account current standards. For a speedy admission, we ask you not to bring large bags.

You are cordially invited to photograph our installations. You may, of course, bring a tripod with you. Please understand that drone photography is not permitted for safety reasons. Photographs and films may only be taken at our event for private purposes. Photography for commercial purposes is not permitted.

No. As this is a Weihnachten im Tierpark is a special event at Tierpark Berlin , day and annual tickets for Tierpark Berlin are not valid.
If you have an annual pass for Tierpark Berlin, Zoo Berlin or the Berlin Aquarium, you will receive a 10% discount on the current admission price when you purchase tickets via our website or at the box office from Weihnachten im Tierpark you will receive a 10% discount on the current admission price. Please bring proof with you.

Yes. The paths at Weihnachten im Tierpark are suitable for use with strollers.

Yes, use of the ice rink is already included in the admission price. Skates (sizes 25/26 to 49/50) can be hired on site for 4.00 euros. Of course, you can also bring your own skates.

Yes. There are handicapped accessible restrooms on the premises.

Adult visitors with disabilities require an adult ticket. Children with disabilities require a ticket for children. An accompanying person receives free admission on presentation of a disabled person's ID (mark B). The accompanying person does not require a separate ticket. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any discounts for guests with disabilities without the B mark.

Yes. Wheelchairs can be rented. Please reserve a wheelchair in advance by sending us an email.

Guests with a severely disabled person's pass (mark B) can take an accompanying person with them free of charge. A ticket is required for themselves, i.e. adults require an adult ticket and children require a child ticket. The accompanying person does not need their own ticket, but can pass through the entrance with the person they are accompanying. Unfortunately, we cannot offer any discounts for guests with disabilities who do not have the B mark.

The circular route leads over uneven terrain. There are barrier-free paths for visitors with wheelchairs or strollers, yet the natural conditions on site can be a challenge.
