Yes, we offer discounts for the following visitor groups and tickets:

Reduced admission from Monday to Thursday (except on public holidays and between December 19 and January 3). The discount can only be granted on presentation of appropriate ID at the entrance.

On the family day or with the family ticket, up to 5 people can Weihnachten im Tierpark visit:
a) 2 adults and up to 3 children aged 6 to 14 inclusive

Children up to and including 5 years receive free admission to the Christmas Garden.
- Guests with disabilities
All guests who are dependent on an accompanying person (mark "B" in the disabled person's pass) can take this person with them free of charge.
- Annual pass holders for Tierpark Berlin, Zoo Berlin or the Berlin Aquarium
Holders of an annual pass receive a 10% discount on tickets for adults, children, schoolchildren, students and senior citizens aged 65 and over. The discount can only be granted on presentation of appropriate identification at the entrance.

Yes, mobile tickets and Print@home tickets can be shown on a cell phone. It is not necessary to print out the tickets.

Vouchers can be issued with an individual voucher value (from €1.00) and personalized with a dedication.
Vouchers can be redeemed directly at the box office, but only on condition that tickets are still available for the desired day and time slot.
We recommend redeeming the voucher for tickets online in our ticket store before your visit. You can of course use the remaining credit on the vouchers for other events at myticket.de.

Children under the age of 6 are admitted free of charge. Children between the ages of 6 and 14 receive a discount, but may only enter the grounds if accompanied by an adult.

If no more tickets are available online for a time slot, it is sold out and no more tickets are available at the box office.

No. Tickets cannot be replaced or reprinted if they are lost. The return of tickets is also excluded. According to § 312g paragraph 2 sentence 1 no. 9 BGB, there is no right of withdrawal when purchasing tickets, despite the basic existence of a distance selling transaction. This means that the two-week right of withdrawal and return is completely excluded when purchasing tickets.

Up to a group size of 20 people, you can book your tickets via our ticket page. For groups of 21 people or more, please send us a request, which you can submit via our ticket page.

The cheapest tickets are only available online! The earlier you book a ticket, the cheaper the ticket price.

The box office on site is open at the following times:
- Monday to Thursday, Sunday: 4:00 p.m. to 7:20 p.m.
- Friday and Saturday as well as December 19 to January 03: 4:00 p.m. to 8:20 p.m.

At the Bärenschaufenster of Tierpark Berlin is the entrance to Weihnachten im Tierpark. Important: The entrance gate at the palace only allows you to exit, but not to enter.

In order to provide all guests with an atmospheric experience, the admission time is staggered per 30 minutes. The admission time is stated on your ticket. Please pass the entrance within the specified half hour. Example: If you have purchased a ticket for 17:30, you can arrive at the entrance between 17:30 and 18:00. Of course you can stay longer than 30 minutes at Weihnachten im Tierpark for longer than 30 minutes.

No. Bicycles, sledges, balance bikes and other children's vehicles may not be taken onto the premises for safety reasons.

Yes. Weihnachten im Tierpark is an open-air event that takes place in all weathers, including rain. Please be aware of this before purchasing your tickets. Winter evenings in Berlin can be very cold and wet. So please remember to wear weatherproof clothing and shoes and bring an umbrella if necessary. Unfortunately, tickets cannot be returned due to bad weather as long as there is no acute danger to visitors.

No. The animal facilities and enclosures at Tierpark Berlin are not part of our Festival of Lights. Therefore Weihnachten im Tierpark only a few real animals can be seen.

Weihnachten im Tierpark takes place in a part of the zoo where there are only a few animal enclosures. Illuminations, music and gastronomic offers are of course placed in such a way that no animals are affected.

No. Please understand that dogs (also on a lead, in rucksacks, bags etc.) and other animals are not allowed on the tour. Officially registered assistance dogs (e.g. guide dogs) are of course excluded.

To avoid long waiting times at the entrance, please do not bring large bags.

At Weihnachten im Tierpark rapidly changing light patterns, stroboscope-like effects and/or intense visual stimuli are used in a few places. We therefore ask people with epilepsy or increased sensitivity to light to exercise caution.

Adult visitors with disabilities require an adult ticket. Children with disabilities require a ticket for children. An accompanying person receives free admission on presentation of a disabled person's ID (mark B). The accompanying person does not require a separate ticket. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer any discounts for guests with disabilities without the B mark.

Yes, wheelchairs can be borrowed. Please reserve a wheelchair in advance by sending us an e-mail.

Guests with a severely disabled person's pass (mark B) can take an accompanying person with them free of charge. A ticket is required for themselves, i.e. adults require an adult ticket and children require a child ticket. The accompanying person does not need their own ticket, but can pass through the entrance with the person they are accompanying. Unfortunately, we cannot offer any discounts for guests with disabilities who do not have the B mark.

The circular trail leads over uneven terrain. There are barrier-free paths for visitors with wheelchairs or baby carriages, but the natural conditions on site can still be a challenge.
