Tickets

Yes, we offer discounts for the following visitor groups and tickets:
• K-12 students, college students, and seniors age 65 and older
Discounted admission is available Monday through Thursday (except on holidays and between December 18 and January 2). The discount can only be granted upon presentation of valid identification at the entrance.

Reduced admission on Family Days
Reduced admission with the Family Ticket
On Family Days or with the Family Ticket, up to 5 people from the same family (up to the second degree of kinship) Weihnachten im Tierpark

All guests who require an accompanying person (marked with a “B” on their severe disability ID card) may bring that person along free of charge.
• Annual pass holders for the Tierpark Berlin, Zoo Berlin, or the Berlin Aquarium
Annual
pass holders receive a 10% discount on tickets for adults, children, as well as schoolchildren, students, and seniors aged 65 and older. The discount can only be granted upon presentation of a valid ID at the entrance.

Discounts and promotions cannot be combined.

 

Yes. Mobile tickets and Print@home tickets can be presented on your cell phone. It is not necessary to print the tickets.

Gift certificates can be issued with a custom amount (starting at €1.00) and include a personal message.
Gift certificates can be redeemed directly at the box office, provided that tickets are still available for the desired date and time slot.
We recommend redeeming the gift certificate online in our ticket shop for admission tickets before your visit. You can, of course, use any remaining balance on the gift certificate at myticket.de for other events.

Children under 6 years of age are admitted free of charge. Children ages 6 through 14 are eligible for a discount but may only enter the grounds when accompanied by an adult.

If tickets are no longer available online for a particular time slot, it is sold out, and tickets are also no longer available at the box office.

No. If a ticket is lost, it cannot be replaced or reprinted. Tickets also cannot be returned. Pursuant to Section 312g, Paragraph 2, Sentence 1, No. 9 of the German Civil Code (BGB), there is no right of withdrawal for the purchase of tickets, despite the fact that such a transaction generally constitutes a distance sale. This means that the two-week right of withdrawal and return is completely excluded when purchasing tickets.

Yes. If you purchased a ticket through our website or myticket.de, you can reschedule the ticket to a new date and/or time slot up to five days before your booked time slot.

If you booked your tickets as a guest, please use the “Request a new password” feature via the following link to convert your guest account into a customer account: myticket login. Please enter the email address you used to book the tickets. You can then make the change in your customer account under “Ticket” and the sub-section “Ticket Exchange.”

Please note:

  • Discounted tickets for high school students, college students, and seniors can only be exchanged for tickets valid Monday through Thursday. It is not possible to change the reservation to Friday through Sunday.
  • A fee of €5.00 is charged per exchange/transaction.
  • Exchanges are only possible via online payment (credit card, Klarna, Amazon Pay, Giropay) and not with prepayment.

For groups of up to 20 people, you can book your tickets through our ticket page. For groups of 21 or more, please send us a request, which you can submit through our ticket page.

The cheapest tickets are available only online! The earlier you book a ticket, the lower the price.

The on-site box office is open during the following hours:
• Monday through Thursday, Sunday: 4:00 p.m. to 7:20 p.m.
• Friday and Saturday, as well as December 18 through January 2: 4:00 p.m. to 8:20 p.m.

The entrance is located at the " Bärenschaufenster " of the " Tierpark Berlin " Weihnachten im Tierpark. Important: The entrance gate at the castle is for exit only; entry is not permitted through it.

To ensure an enjoyable experience for all guests, admission times are staggered in 20-minute intervals. Your ticket indicates your admission time. Please enter through the entrance within the specified half-hour window. Example: If you purchased a ticket for 5:20 p.m., you may arrive for admission between 5:20 p.m. and 5:40 p.m. Of course, you’re welcome to stay longer than 20 minutes Weihnachten im Tierpark .

General Information

No. Since this Weihnachten im Tierpark a special event at the Tierpark Berlin , day passes and annual passes from the Tierpark Berlin are not valid.
If you have an annual pass for the Tierpark Berlin, the Berlin Zoo, or the Berlin Aquarium, you’ll receive Weihnachten im Tierpark a 10% discount on the current admission price. Please bring proof of eligibility with you.

A marriage proposal at Weihnachten im Tierpark is generally permitted. However, please note the following guidelines:
• Please stay on the designated loop trail and on the marked paths.
• Do not leave any trash behind: no confetti, no plastic, no balloons, no candles, no fireworks, etc.
• To ensure that all guests can enjoy their visit, please be considerate: Other visitors must not be disturbed or held up.

In Weihnachten im Tierpark rapidly changing light patterns, strobe-like effects, and/or intense visual stimuli are used in a few scenes. Therefore, we ask people with epilepsy or increased sensitivity to light to exercise caution.

Yes. Use of the ice rink is already included in the admission price. For 4.00 euros, you can rent skates (in sizes 25/26 through 49/50) on site. Of course, you’re also welcome to bring your own skates.

Yes. You can find music from Weihnachten im Tierpark and the Christmas Garden on all major music streaming services. You can find a list here.

Weihnachten im Tierpark This is an outdoor event, and winter evenings can get very cold. We therefore recommend that you wear warm, weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes. Please bring an umbrella if necessary.

If you lost something at our event, please send us an email with a description of the lost item.

Yes. The paths at Weihnachten im Tierpark are suitable for use with strollers.

No. For safety reasons, bicycles, sleds, balance bikes, and other children's vehicles are not allowed on the premises.

You’re welcome to film and take photos of our installations. Of course, you’re welcome to bring a tripod. We’d love for you to capture the special atmosphere of Weihnachten im Tierpark and share your impressions with us on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook using #weihnachtenimtierpark and #christmasgarden. Please understand that, for safety reasons, drone photography is not permitted. At our event, photos and videos may only be taken for personal use. Photography or videography for commercial purposes is not permitted and requires prior written authorization.

With an increased number of security and usher staff and a professional admission process, we are meeting the heightened security requirements of recent years while adhering to current standards. To ensure a smooth admission process, we ask that you refrain from bringing large bags.

To avoid long wait times at the entrance, please do not bring large bags.

No. Please understand that dogs (even if on a leash, in backpacks, bags, etc.) and other animals are not permitted. Of course, officially registered service dogs (e.g., guide dogs) are exempt from this rule.

Weihnachten im Tierpark takes place in a section of the zoo where there are only a few animal enclosures. Of course, the lights, music, and food and beverage offerings are arranged in such a way that they do not disturb the animals.

No. The animal enclosures and habitats at the Tierpark Berlin are generally not part of our Festival of Lights. That is why Weihnachten im Tierpark only a few real animals can be seen.

Yes. Weihnachten im Tierpark This is an open-air event that takes place regardless of the weather, including in the rain. Please be aware of this before purchasing your tickets. Winter evenings in Berlin can get very cold and wet. So please be sure to wear weather-appropriate clothing and shoes, and consider bringing an umbrella. Unfortunately, ticket refunds due to bad weather are not possible unless there is an immediate danger to attendees.

Guests with Disabilities

Adult visitors with disabilities need an adult ticket. Children with disabilities need a child ticket. Upon presentation of a severe disability ID card (Category B), one accompanying person receives free admission. The accompanying person does not need a separate ticket. Unfortunately, we cannot offer discounts to guests with disabilities who do not have a Category B ID card.

Yes. Wheelchairs are available for rent. Please reserve a wheelchair in advance by sending us an email.

Guests with a severe disability ID card (Category B) may bring one companion free of charge. They must purchase a ticket for themselves—that is, adults need an adult ticket, and children need a child ticket. The companion does not need a separate ticket but may enter with the person they are accompanying. Unfortunately, we cannot offer any discounts to guests with disabilities who do not have the “B” designation.

The loop trail passes through uneven terrain. There are accessible paths for visitors using wheelchairs or strollers; however, the natural conditions on site may still pose a challenge.

Yes. There are accessible restrooms on the premises.
